I also wondered to myself — is the Empower Network a scam? The answer to that question is, no, it is NOT a scam. I think of it like a first romantic relationship. You invest so much of yourself into it. You want so badly to make things work. And when the relationship is over, you walk away from it a better person than you were before you got into it. At one time, this company consumed my every waking minute, as I was trying so desperately to figure out how to make money online so I could live my dream life. I have attended four of their events across the country. They are an amazing company. People outgrow each other but move forward with beautiful memories and experiences. Empower Network is intended for people who want to learn the ropes of making money online or anyone looking to run their own business. If you have the drive and the desire to truly make this happen for yourself, then Empower Network is absolutely a great vehicle to help you reach your personal and financial dreams. So when someone joins our team, they have access to a wealth of exclusive trainings only available to the Prosperity Team.

Empower Network support is very good. Their support department has always been responsive and willing to answer any questions I had. At every Empower Network event I have attended, they are acknowledged for doing such a great job. Empower Network does an amazing job training you to be focused and organized in your work so that you do ultimately find success. Part of their philosophy involves reading for as specified set of time each day.

For anyone who has done a bit of research, and for current members, it’s no secret that Empower Network is expensive. Somewhere along the line you decided you want your money backand you’re not. But the Empower Network customer support system does not make it easy. The following ideas for how to get your money back from Empower Network are not foolproof. Each ex-member I’ve spoken to has had a different experience.

Here are some ways to get out of Empower Network and get your money at least some of it. Note: I refer to several stories in this post. Rather than link to each one, every time I take a piece of information, I will provide all appropriate links. Some parts of stories do not have links because they were private conversations, or blog posts that have since been deleted.

The first place you should go to is ticket support. If you contact phone support, it may seem like you would get the issue resolved faster, but this is not true. Their phone support will not issue you a refund over the phone.

Ticket support at EN will not be easy, and most likely be slow. It took one ex-member 10 days to resolve his issues, and that did not include a refund.

He also mentioned that he had to cancel three separate parts of his account with three separate tickets. Another ex-member I spoke to was unsure, but recalled canceling all three in one go. I would start by writing one ticket and specifically mentioning cancellation of all parts of your membership. You will probably get no response, so it is best to also call your bank and block these charges to be safe. Ticket support will cancel your subscription and future payments.

It will probably not get you a refund, but it’s worth a try. Another ex member had very good luck with her refund after contacting the BBB. Though details were not give regarding exactly what was said to the BBB, it seemed relatively easy to have them contact EN and request a refund. Here is the screenshot of the comment on. If both of these methods fail, it you may still be able to block the charge via your bank or credit card.

There are lots of variables here, so I can’t offer this as official financial advice. Disputing a charge may cause your credit card to be frozen because of possible fraud ie someone stole your card or have other negative affects on your account. I have disputed charges before with no problems, but cards, banks, and policies vary widely.

I would use this method as a last resort. This is going to depend on how much time you have to devote to following up with a refund. Some ex-members have opted to write it off as a learning experience.

You could be dealing with this issues for two weeks or. In the meantime you will be thinking about it, writing emails, checking bank statements, maybe making phone calls, and definitely checking other blogs to see if someone has a better method. You will most likely not be able to get back any recurring payments that happened.

If this money is July and you joined in January, the only refund you would be able to get would be the July payment speculation. You have a good chance of getting this money. Hopefully you have not waited too long to take action.

Write a ticket to customer support, but don’t expect too. It’s best to cover all your bases, but I don’t have much faith in their quality of support. Simultaneously contact the BBB and request instructions for proper procedure. They may need some information from you to follow up with a refund request. On the same day, call your bank or credit card company and see what they say.

Most likely they will tell you that a refund needs to be initiated from the company and you need to wait, but if more than two weeks goes by, look into upgrading your issue to a fraudulent charge.

Again this may or may not have legal issues attached to it, so proceed with caution. EN does not make getting your money back easy. They do not provide any kind of guidance for proper channels to request refunds, and give you an extra headache by providing horrible customer service.

Expect some challenges ahead. But it is possible, so don’t give up. If you have received a refund, please let me know how you did it in the comments. I had 72 hours to dispute this, obviously I immediately loaded the dispute……now it is 20 days later and. I phone and leave the info they require, but they in empower network you make money not come back to me. PayPal says they can not help as they do not see it as fraud. What else can I do? They took more than half my monthly income. Empowr is not the same as Empower Network. I am deleting my account! I am asking for refund! Should I do anything else? I just need to cancel my account.
