Renting your stuff is a great way to make some extra money, especially when you’re in college. Don’t think you have much to rent? You’d be surprised. One of my best friends did this — he bought a 4 bedroom house his freshman year and rented out 3 of the rooms. The rent from the roommates covered the rent and all the expenses, and he was able to pocket a small profit each month.

If you have a car that you’re not using because you’re spending all your time on campus studying, maybe it’s time you put it to use by renting it.
